Introduction

In March 2014, investment firm HGGC, LLC, announced

the acquisition of Serena Software, an enterprise

software maker. Serena Software develops products to

help businesses manage their software services.

Serena Software recently received the NorthFace

ScoreBoard Award from Omega Management Group

Corp. for the seventh time in recognition of providing

excellent customer service. Omega Management Group

looks for companies that strive to exceed customers’

expectations.

About Serena Software

Serena Software is an independent provider of orchestrated application development and release management solutions.

Peter Sianchuk, Serena Software’s group vice president of customer experience and IT, said that the company is committed to providing a “high quality customer experience” that goes beyond technical support. He said that the company bases many of its improvements in its support and communications processes directly on customer feedback.

Since the NorthFace ScoreBoard Award is based

solely on votes from customers, it is considered one

service.
