Prestashop Marketplace Seller Shipping

Sellers can add their own shipping methods and set one's own shipping rates. Seller can even specify the transit time in multilanguage.

Introduction

Managing their own shipping methods and shipping rates for sellers are easy now.

Shipping transit time can be specified in multiple languages.

Sellers can set impact price on their shipping methods.

Sellers can assign single/multiple shipping methods to their products.

Sellers can set single/multiple "default shipping methods" which will be applicable on all the

products by default.


Manage Shipping Methods

Seller can customize their shipping methods as per their need.

Seller can assign single/multiple shipping methods to all the products at once by the help of “assign shipping” button on product list page.

Seller can select single/multiple shipping methods as “default shipping methods”, which will be applicable to all the newly added products.

Admin can assign all of their shipping methods to their products so that only their shipping methods are applicable on their products.

Admin can also assign their single/multiple shipping methods to seller products.


Shipping Rates

Seller can set shipping rates based on product price or product weight. Seller can also set the shipping method as free shipping method. Seller can add handling charges set by admin to their shipping methods. Seller can set shipping rates according to zone, country and state Admin can also add and set the shipping rates for sellers.


Order Management

As per prestashop standards if a cart has multiple products with different shipping methods on each product, then separate order will be generated at back-end to admin and front-end to buyers.

With seller shipping module, each seller will have their own shipping methods on their products and hence separate orders will be generated for each seller.

Each seller can update the status of their order as per their convinience. There will be no effect on the order, if one of the seller cancel their order and another shipped their order.

Each seller will receive separate mails for their orders with the detail of their products.


Invoice Management

With seller shipping module multiple invoices will be generated as by default feature of prestashop if a cart has two products with different shipping methods applied on each, then different orders will be generated and so the invoices for each order.

Each invoice will display the shipping cost of the carrier applied on that product or order.


Cart Conditions To Manage Shipping

The cart is managed by prestashop in this module. Shipping will be managed according to following conditions-

If any cart has two products with two different shipping methods, then the total shipping amount will be displayed to buyers. Buyers will not be able to view the detail of shipping methods.

If any cart has two products with two different shipping methods on each product and one of the shipping is common among them, then the common shipping will be applied on the cart.

If any cart has two different products with two different shipping methods on each product and there is no common shipping, then the shipping method with minimum rate will be applied on the cart for that product.
