Connecting player IAdea  • Connection: Connect player to power supply using an AC cable (power supply cable). Connect player to our display via VGA or HDMI (video cable). Connect player to the network using an RJ-45 cable (network cable) or wirelessly (only for the XMP-3450 model). Connect a keyboard to the player using the USB port.

• Getting started: Turn on your IAdea player and wait for the configuration menu to load. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del if the menu does not appear. You can use the arrow keys to move around the menu. Use Enter to confirm and Esc to cancel.  • Setup: Select the third option, Content Source, and press Enter. Edit the Server URL field by typing the following URL: “http://YOUR_PROJECT.posterdigitalhq.com/api/index.html”, replacing YOUR_PROJECT for the real name of your project. Select Done by pressing Enter and go back to the main menu.

• Network settings: Select the fourth option, Network Settings, and press Enter. You will get a menu with several options. Depending on your type of connection, you will need to fill in one of the following two:

1. IP configuration: Configure your network IP address either manually or automatically.

2. Wireless configuration: If you have an XMP-3450 player you can configure your access point searching automatically for your network and entering your password.

Select Done by pressing Enter and go back to the main menu.

• System Time Settings Select the fifth option, Time Settings, and press Enter. Press Enter on the time and change it using the arrow keys Up and Down. Select a time zone with the arrow keys and pressing the spacebar. Select Done by pressing Enter and go back to the main menu. 

Now save your changes: the player is now connected to the system.
