What is Janus?

• Janus is a Machine Learning extension to the SmartSimple platform.

• Step 1– Using Janus Machine Learning, you can analyze all your grant data and

outcomes to establish objective models of what works, what does not work, and where the ambiguity lies.

– Janus is agnostic and has no pre-built bias; it learns your current unique model and provides different insights to incoming grant application.

• Step 2– Add the Janus model to your grant application– Janus will score each application based on the model

• Like the Roman legend of mythology, Janus looks backward and forward at the same.
