5. Computer needed to be connected with iPhone (iPad and iPod) by lighting cable.

6. Open iTunes then switch off iPhone by pressing sleep/ power button. To start DFU mode, hold power and home button together for 10 second then release power button only. Continue holding home button till iTunes shows the message, “your device is now in recovery mode” in iPhone/iPad/iPod touch.
