What kind of institution mightdistribute your media product & why?ROBERT GODDARD – DIGITAL RED STUDIOS
What research did you do into Institutions
We researched how openings were made, and saw how each institution placed their names at the beginning of every film made by or involving them.
The Institution I researched was Warner Bros, A Subsidiary Film Studio known for making famous Action and Fantasy movies like Harry Potter for example, I couldn’t find anything on how they produce their movies however I do know that Warner Bros. have a higher list of top movies than even 20th Century Fox, making them quite a big studio.
As a Studio of such size, they produce films of varying genres, including Fantasy and Action which is my focus
Warner Bros. Pictures began in April 1923
Why did you chose a particular company, what’s theirideology?
I chose Warner Bros. as it is famous for its Fantasy and Action based movies, doing particularly well and having most of their income come from Harry Potter (A Fantasy movie) and Batman (An Action Movie). Both of these movies target a Teen Audience (like most of the Warner Bros. TV Series) however it appeals to members of all the family. It appealed to my interests because the movie I was attempting to create involved using both aspects of Fantasy and Action. So Warner Bros. was my choice of company
Warner Bros. Highest Grossing FilmsThis is a List of the Films that Earn Warner Bros. the most money.
The Dark Knight (2008) - $534,858,444
The Dark Knight Rises (2012) - $448,139,099
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011) – $381,011,219
American Sniper (2014) - $347,251,832
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001) - $317,575,550
As you can see here, The Majority of Movies that earn them the most are Action and Fantasy, They are therefore the greatest successes of Warner Bros and are thus the optimal company choice for me to focus on.
20th Century Fox
20th Century Fox mainly focuses on Sci-Fi Action films, most of which barely have a shred of fantasy, besides the Star wars series.
For this reason it is unlikely for 20th Century Fox to publish our film if we presented it to them, as they are famed for Sci-Fi Action and not Action Fantasy. So it would be outside of their normal releases.
20th Century Fox Began in 1935, in the month of may. Explains why it is the 20th Century Fox as it began then.
Its most famous works are Avatar and The Star Wars Series
Dreamworks
Known for very famous Fantasy based films. The one thing Dreamworks specialises in is Animation movies. Infact they specialise in it so much so that they have their own studio for it.
Their most famous works is the Shrek series, consisting of 4 movies. They were very well known for that series but they also made other great Fantasy animations like Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs Aliens and other.
Dreamworks began in October 1994.
Dreamworks would be another unlikely candidate to publish our film however. Despite all the Action and Fantasy they include in their films, the bulk of those films are Animation. Ours is acted, not animated. So we could not possibly go for Dreamworks
Did you use the institution logo at the start of the film orcreate your own?
The Answer? Both! We decided to not only add in a Warner Bros. Institution Logo at the beginning of our Final Task, but we also added our own “Digital Red Productions” at the beginning of it. We decided that a Warner Bros. Project Commandeered by our Production house would sound kind of cool.
Mention and list the type ofresearch sources you used

This was the only site I could find with a decent amount of information on Warner Bros.
