What kind of colours would you like to see on the front cover?

Grace: For a pop magazine, I think vibrant colours work well

Emma: I’d like to see bright, ‘pop’ colours on the front cover, it’s more appealing, however not too bright, that could start to look childish

Karla: Definitely bright colours, but black still works well with white and bright colours

What kind of image would you like to see on the front cover?

Grace: I think I’d most like to see one main image of a female artist, that’s what I listen to most

Emma: I agree, a female artist or a female band

Karla: A female artist or male artist, but one main person would look the best

How many cover lines do you think would look best on the front cover?

Grace: Not loads because that can make it look fussy

Emma: I think about 4 including a pug, then it won’t look too much

Karla: Not too many but not too little, about 4 around the picture

How many pictures would you like to see on the contents page?

Grace: I think one main image and then maybe one or two small ones of different bands/artists

Emma: I agree with Grace Karla: About 2, with one main picture of a

different artist to the front cover

What colours would you like to see on the contents page?

Grace: The same colour scheme as on the front, it looks more professional to keep the colour scheme consistent

Emma: Bright colours again to fit in with the ‘pop’ theme, same as the front cover

Karla: Keep the colours the same to make a theme

What type of language would you expect on the contents page?

Grace: Not formal language, mostly informal and language that relates to young people, so use of slang

Emma: A small use of slang, but not too much of it, informal and chatty to make it personal

Karla: Informal language to relate to its target audience

Would you prefer the article to be free-flowing or Q&A?

Grace: Q&A makes it more interesting Emma: Q&A because I like to see how the

celebrity answers the question Karla: I think Q&A is more popular, it’s more

entertaining to see what a celebrity gets asked and what they answer

Would you like to see any images on the double page spread?

Grace: I think just one main image in the middle would look good

Emma: Just the one or two images, this page is about the text, one main image will be more appealing as it will look more effective and won’t detract from the text

Karla: One main image on the left hand side, if there was any more, just a small one

Grace: News about a new and upcoming artist

Emma: An interview with an artist, talking about a new album/tour

Karla: An interview about how an artist came to fame
