• In this shot we are presented with a picture of Margaret Thacter in a van, which gives the audience that the film is about a really problem that effect a lot of people. The shutting of the coal mine.

• They have used such a iconic person who was hatted by so many.• They have used some non-diegetic music which you would expected at a riot, which links

back to the closing of the coal mines.

• In this shot they have include a very iconic game that was around in the 1980’s to make the film as relastic as possible.

• It was something that the audience can relate playing when they where children, so therefore they can relate to the film.

• Again the use of non-digietic music is still being used to show that the 1980 was not all peaceful when people played video games but it was full of fights and riots.

• In this shot they have very cleverly used the title with the picture. By showing the derelicted house and using the title “THIS IS ENGLAND” this show that england is not all nice as it seems, there are some bad parts.

• They have also used this shot to show the effects of closing the coal mines, which left millions of people with out a job and no money to pay for nice housing.

• Again they have used non-digietic music to imitate a riot.

• In the have shown a group of non law abiding men, this again backs up all the non-digetic of riot and these man seem to be involed.

• Also they have shown them with short hair cut which was typical of people that where in gangs
