Case study – ToyKraft, Mother’s Day Contest
For Mother’s Day, we wanted to create a situation for our fans on Facebook, to help bring back wonderful memories from the past. We wanted to give Mother’s Day, a whole new meaning.
We started of with creating a very charming yet easy contest for the wonderful people on ToyKraft’s Facebook page. As decided there was to be exactly one lucky winner, emerging from this unique contest, who would be gifted an exciting TK Gift Hamper worth INR 1000.
Deciding to also promote the same on ToyKraft’s twitter page, we were all set for the campaign. Finally, the day arrived and we began with our contest named,

The first thing we did on the page was change the cover photo to a more interesting one, announcing the oncoming contest.
Since the contest was set to begin from the 9th of May, we changed the cover photo on the 8th itself. What we noticed was that no sooner was the cover photo updated, there started a huge buzz online for the same! Prospective participants were already excited to the core, and couldn't wait for the instructions for the contest to be put up!
Soon after, the application image on ToyKraft’s Facebook page was also updated.

The Contest - #MommyMyBestfriend LCmediaHouse
#MommyMyBestfriend contest merely asked its participants to post pictures of themselves with their beloved mothers, and to write a story about why their mother is their best friend. The most important thing that struck us in the midst of this campaign was the overwhelming response every post was gathering, with each response being more creative than the last. We put up a new post soon after reminding them about the contest and how good the entries were so far!
This post also stood as a reminder for the ones who hadn't participated yet.

By the 10th of May amazing entries were pouring in, so we decided to create a collage of most of the entries received till then, thanking them for the same. We also, in the same post, asked for more participation.

Come 11th May, Mother’s Day was colorfully celebrated on the ToyKraft Facebook page. A beautiful wish for the same occasion was created and posted by us on the page. The response again was mind-blowing!

Again, the same evening another ‘Entries-received’ collage post was put up by us thanking the many more entries received from enthusiastic participants.

An update was later in the same evening put up by us, stating that entries would no longer be accepted post 12:00 AM, 12th May.
Then arrived the day that marked the end of #MommyMyBestfriend contest, the same morning a heart warming post was put up by us. The post thanked all the participants for their amazing response, which was much more than just an entry in a contest. The depth of their participation reflected on the happiness that every person shared, just discussing and sharing wonderful memories of their darling mothers!

Then began the difficult period of selecting the best winner. This was even more difficult, as no mother is better or greater than another as every mother is God in disguise for her child. The more we thought the more we were confused, until we figured out a simple yet fascinating solution.We, at the last moment decided to give away prizes to,
