Main Image: the main image is of father Christmas taken at a mid shot, this photo represents that the magazine is of a Christmas theme, suggesting that the magazine was published around December time.

Mast head: the name of the magazine suggests what it says it is to update students and staff of what is going on around school, this suggests that the school is very interested in their students and they care a lot. The font is very simple sans serif, which helps draw more attention to the cover lines, and what the magazine actually has to offer.

Cover line: this cover line has been written in a basic sans serif font but the coloured text box helps draws the readers attention to it and the story.

Barcode: this section tells us that this is the 5th issue of this magazine which suggests it is quite new but must be doing quite well to have got on to the fifth issue.

Strip: the strip tells us what there is to be expected in the magazine, it is also and advertising tool as it can be used to draw the readers attention with interesting articles.
