Q7: Looking back at your Preliminary Task (The

continuity editing task) what do you feel you have learnt in the progression

from it to full product.By Tobias Orchard

What have I learnt from my Preliminary Task?

As it was the first task that I have done it taught me the fundamental about editing. This is a picture of my group editing.

Effective editing: Due to are lack of experience I are Preliminary Task we did not stick to the 180 Rule, so when it came to editing we tried to find clip editing function, we also did this again on are real one so we have the know how to change it and make it right.

In the Preliminary Task we used pound effect to get the point across to the audience, through learning more about editing, when we used the heat beat sound to create effect we wanted that would make the audience fell like they are real their with the characters

How did we transfer the skills we learnt from the Prelim into our real

thing? As I said in the last slide we learnt a

lot of editing techniques from the Prelim that helped us massively as with are 180 Rule.

We also had the knowledge and know how to use more camera angle sot get the audience engaged with ‘at the end of the trail.
