Comprehensive Directing Capabilities

Writing: From feature films to branding narratives, I have extensive experience writing treatments and scripts and condensing both written and visual elements quickly and cohesively.

Development: I lead creative teams to explore and develop design concepts for the genre, mood, style of animation, text treatments and lighting that will serve as the foundational visual aesthetic of the video. My experienced also includes overseeing the creation of moodboards, style frames and storyboards.

Producing: I am proficient with the production management workflow of corporate videos, commercials, television, live-action features, animation and motion graphics. My skills include defining scope of work, balancing budgets, communicating effectively, hiring and managing production and post-production crew, establishing collabrative environment, creating estimates, invoices and SOW contracts.

Post-Production: I am a master of Premiere, Avid and FCP editing and am proficient with converting/exporting various codecs and formats, media management, color correction, sound design and mixing. As a senior editor, I strive to achieve a strong, well developed “content cut” as the foundation. While the structure is essential, it’s the intricate layering of the visual elements and the attention to nuances that ultimately breathes life into the cut, creating mood, emotion, lyricism, tempo, musicality and metaphor. Directing Actors: My ability to work with actors is a skill I've acquired through nearly 20 years of consistent training in acting and comedy improv. I also am very experienced in conducting interviews.

Videographer: I own and operate a Sony FS 700 4K camera package and Ronin and have experienced in lighting techniques and in recording audio.
