You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something-your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

Do you believe in the idea of “doing what you love?”

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.

What’s the most expensive thing which you have ever bought?

My favourite things in life don’t cost any money. It’s really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time.

The world in which we live in tends to see entrepreneurs/creative individuals as the rebels of society.

Steve Jobs:

Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes...the ones who see things differently-they’re not fond of rules...You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t to do is ignore them because they change things...they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.
