TL-2000 MATERIAL PROPERTIES

TL-2000 is a unique, patented, single-component back liquid micro-bitumen polymer component.

TL-2000 has powerful adhesive properties, can reliably bond any steel surface, and resistant to water, various chemicals and load.

TL-2000 can be effectively used in construction and maintenance of bridges and viaducts.

Excellent adhesion allows using TL-2000 as a primer (tack coat) between two layers of asphalt concrete and under the first its layer with steel surface.

It is advisable to use TL-2000 as an anticorrosive coating for metal surfaces.

A red modification of TL-2000 can be manufactured.


APPLLICATIONS OF TL-2000 FOR THIS PROJECT

Option 1: Apply TL-2000 as a Thin Membrane .− TL-2000 is applied a thin membrane on the surface of steel plate in

order to prevent moisture and chemicals (acids, alkalis, etc.) carried by it, and consequently from corrosion.

− A thin membrane of TL-2000 help to increase friction factor of the surface so more safety for pedestrian.

− TL-2000 thin memberane have high elastic so it ca ensure deformation of steel under various temperature.

− Construction is under air temperature, no need heating or other specific machine.

− Easily construction and fast installation.− Durability is very long more than 10 years.


APPLLICATIONS OF TL-2000 FOR THIS PROJECT

Option 2: Apply TL-2000 as a Chip Seal.

− TL-2000 is sprayed on the surface then immediately covered with aggregate and rolled.

− It provides skid resistance and a waterproof cover over the underlying structure..

− The thickness of chip seal layer is about the same as the nominal maximum size of aggregate particles.

− In this case, TL-2000 can be mixed with sand, fine aggregate and fine milled-recycle asphalt, then pave on the surface above a TL-2000 thin membrane.


TESTING TL-2000 FOR THIS PROJECT Test applying TL-2000 on steel surface.− Apply a TL-2000 thin membrane on the steel sample.− Apply TL-2000 mixed with fine milled-asphalt on steel surface.
