How to get started in Twitter   Set up your profile   http://twitter.com/LisaRedShoesPR

  Think carefully about your bio… use relevant key words. This is how others find you.

  Preferably use a photo of yourself, people respond better to people

Follow others to listen   Listen carefully to what people are saying

  Explore Twitter search applications such as Twellow

  Review other’s followers and follow them if interested

Begin engaging  When you are replying to someone’s comment,

direct it to them by using the “@” symbol

  For example:   @affinityhealth I went to Mercy Medical Center and

saw my cardiologist.

  @underfunfit Do you have any suggestions on how I can build up my arm strength?

Few things to keep in mind   Remember, do not use ALL CAPS IN YOUR TWEETS!

  Everything you post is public

  Google searches Twitter

  Do not push

  Twitter is a 2-way conversation

  Give credit where credit is due

  It’s about relationships!
