Pay it Forward is a movie about
society, and what each of us can
do to improve it. Each character
represents many different life lessons, and here are a few of
them. Trevor represents
giving, Eugene Simonet represents
fear, Arlene represents
desperation, Chris Chandler (Reporter) represents
curiosity, and the stranger named Mr. Thorsen represents kindness
Trevor McKinney
Is a boy of 11 years, to
which life forced him to mature at once. His father
abandoned him.
He's a guy that tries to achieve all that is
proposed, even if it means giving his life for it. Is the one
that initiates the chain of favors, believing that this will
change the world.
Trevor created a unique concept called ‘Pay it
Forward’. It consists of doing a large favor for 3 different people, and each of them
to do favors for 3 other strangers.
giving.
Eugene Simonet
It is the social teacher 7th grade, every year gives a welcome speech which
suggests thinking about a way to improve the
world. In his childhood he underwent several
conflicts with his alcoholic father. He is
also a person with lack of confidence in itself and
can not be accepted as physically.
He gave his class an assignment that involved changing the world for the better, but perhaps
because of fear of doing it himself. In his
relationship with Arlene, he showed great
fear almost all of the time.
Arlene McKinney
Trevor's mother. It is an alcoholic, abused by her husband, who suffered much in its infancy. Because of
their work and communication
addiction with her son, Trevor, is scarce.
Most of her acts were done
desperately, hoping for a better future.
She worked 2 informal jobs, just to support Trevor and herself after her ex husband Ricky left
her.
Chris Chandler
• It is a chain benefited favors. By profession a journalist decides to
find out the origin of the chain. How to get to Trevor, and makes him and his famous chain. Because he was willing to drive a long distance, just to find out information about a story. A story that will not make him any money. Chris was a very proactive person, only needing his own approval to take a certain action.
Ricky McKinney
• Alcoholic ex-husband of Arlene McKinney and also an alcoholic who has caused trauma to the fragile life of Trevor.
Jerry
• Trevor tries to help him get a job and to stop drugs. Originally Trevor succeeds, but after time, Jerry understands the value of life and begins to move the chain.

The film has left me a lesson which is that, starting with one, even the world may change. Only one has to pass on to others who have good intentions towards the other and the possibilities we have to transform and change the world, a world where people help each other, because one learns from others.
We have to face and accept reality and not lock ourselves in our reality, but also, we have q communicate and relate with others.
We have to encourage and fight, do not give up, because if you give up ... everybody loses, you have to have hope and faith in others, that is why it depends on each one, change yourself and change the world .
Trevor did not give up, nor did he fear so much that he risked his life and ended his life, wanting to help the other.
The fact that the people of this world say that "the world is wrong" is because they think that the world is full of insecure, unhappy people, people who are in a low quality of life or politicians who transform the world into what it is, there are many reasons why the world believes this, but if you start with one, this may change.
I really like movies that leave you a message about life, about how to live it, seize it and win. These movies where they teach you how to interact with others and learn from others, either from their mistakes, not to commit, or good deeds, to put into action.
