Love makes a bleak world colorful, as evidenced in this elemental yet bright image. It is a traditional emotion, but welcomes modernity with open arms. Amidst the complicated challenges of daily life, a saccharine sensation remains, one which cannot be easily eradicated by life dark shadows. It is a feeling wherein good overpowers the bad, and where risks are boldly taken.

Love uplifts and prioritizes the happiness of each other. Indeed, I Corinthians 13 has chronicled it well, for in this image, love is endless. It transcends time, space, even heights, and does not have a care in the world. Even if the backdrop disappears completely, only a real, true and natural kind of love can remain so joyous by just being together. Finally, love is a comfortable cushion to fall back in. In whatever facet of life, love is a shining beacon, and a wondrous blessing. It can be found in the most unexpected places, only if we search the right corners to find it.

Nothing can come close to the love that a mother feels for her children. Most women are inherently excellent mothers. Women carry their young before they are born and then continue to nurture them throughout their childhood and even into adulthood. Mothers make sure that their children are safe and happy throughout their childhood. It is the unconditional love that a mother feels that drives these feelings. It is hard to describe the feeling that a mother has towards her children. In fact, most people do not understand unless they become a mother themselves. Raising children comes with its own share of frustrations, from the needy new born baby that requires regular care to the sullen teenager, a mother's job is anything but easy. A famous saying states that "God could not be everywhere and so he invented mothers", these words are a great inspiration to mothers across the world. When all is well, a mother puts her children before anything else, including their own comfort and happiness. Describing a mother's love is virtually impossible. It is a feeling that can only truly be understood by those that experience it. In time, a mother's daughters will grow up to be mothers themselves.

karla, patricia and einstein. sharing a special bond, a friendship, a different kind of love. Their friendship proved that cuddly friends give more love than you gave them. they will always be loyal, committed to give fun and a reliable defender.

this is einstein at three month-old. he is now three years old and the love he gives is getting intense. the entertainment he shows is getting wackier. so is their love is getting stronger. one time einstein got lost. karla and patricia lost hope. they thought they will never see him again. miracle of miracles, after five days, out of the blue the dog showed up. they never know and will never have the chance to know how he got lost and how he was able to get home again.

it was probably their special bond that brought einsten back – one need not be an animal trainer to see the relief in their eyes to be reunited once again. this time, no one is going to get lost or be gone...

This photo was taken within the grounds of Fontainebleau castle, where many famous figures of French history, including Napoleon, spent their lives. While walking through the secluded grounds, I saw an old couple holding hands, unaware of anything or anyone but each other. I’ve never really been a romantic, but it amazed me that these people could still be so deeply in love, regardless of the passing of the seasons and the ravages of time. It was just so beautiful that in a world of distractions and technology, this couple still enjoyed the simple pleasure of walking together. I realized that the splendour of all the castles and kinds of France could never hope to compare to the strength of the love that these people shared. Love like this defies the boundaries of time; it is a rare treasure that should be cherished by those lucky enough to find it

I remember when I was a kid; Aling Iling is roving in the community just to sell newspapers. Until now, 20 years have passed; she is still working in order to suffice her needs. As soon as I’ve taken the picture, I see the true meaning of life and love in our country. Notwithstanding with the years of blood and sweat, she manages to smile just to forget her struggles in life. She helped me understand the real meaning of the cliché “Habang may buhay, may pag-asa” ‘cause even if she’s old, she’s not giving up on the trials given by God.

I capture love for a living. As a wedding photographer I’m lucky to constantly see it in my work, and some moments just stand out more than others.

This photo is one of the most symbolic ones I’ve captured not because of what you see right now – but how the events turned out that led to this. It was a cloudy & rainy day, and we all started out worried that the prenup would be rained on. But we still went around the city, shooting where we could, amidst the drizzle.

Looking for one last place, in a secluded rundown portion near the bay, we found a spot. Hurrying to catch whatever light was left on that gloomy day, I directed the couple to just look at each other, and with that one gorgeous glance, the sky suddenly opened up to a jaw-dropping orange.

Love as I see it are the meaningful glances couples give each other, God who provides breathtaking backdrops at the right moment, the tears of a father giving away a bride, the cute little giggles of flower girls and the opportunity to hope & dream again with photographs.

It was one bright morning when I took this photo. A snapshot of a father taking his daughter to an early walk. As I begin to ponder about what would be my story line for this portrait, a thought dawned on me. I began to contemplate about God's love for everyone. As the Bible clearly describes it, for GOD so LOVED the world, HE gave His only Son for us. Allow me to convey to you the Father's heart and begin to see Him as the Loving Father who is willing to take us by the hand with an assurance that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He took the ugliness of sin on the cross. He was beaten, scourged on our behalf. He expressed His love by sacrificing His own life, for us to be reconciled with God. His death now assures us that nothing canseparate us from His love.

One may find a true love but faint sweet memories of a young love will always linger and will have a special place in one's heart.

A certain Ingrid Bergman once said, "A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous." Just like a luscious red rose, a kiss is one of the most famous expressions of love in the world. It transcends gender, colour, education, or social status. Candidly taken with the backdrop of the iconic Venetian sea and the gondolas, these lovers were never ashamed to show their love for each other with a kiss. Their actions were a clear expression of their love for each other notwithstanding what other people might think. Love for them was meant to be shared and showed for all. If only like these lovers, we, too, could also share and show our affection to our loved ones, anytime, any place, what a better place the world would be.

The photo captures the trust and love between a father and his daughter.I took this photo of my husband and our youngest daughter during one of our summer outings at Subic. After their short stroll, hand-in-hand, along the sandy beach, my husband carried our daughter. He let her experience and feel the wind on her face by gently maneuvering her over his shoulders, around his neck and upperback. Oh how she loved the experience! They were having so much fun with each other unmindful of the things going on around them. For a while, maybe our daughter thought that she was a bird or an airplane or a superhero who can fly. But whatever was on her mind, one thing was certain -- she felt secured and safe in her father’s arms. She wasn’t afraid nor was there any trace of fear on her face as my husband eased her over his shoulders. She knew her father wouldn’t let her fall. Our daughter will soon fly and spread her wings someday and we long to be there with her when it happens.

You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” -Ansel AdamsEvery image taken is not just about what we see. More than the subject, the composition and the lighting. It is a reflection of the vision of the one who pressed the shutter. A culmination of all that he has seen, all that he read and heard. And most importantly the very ones closest to his heart. All images has love in them, and we are free to define it based on what it made us feel. This image is about the promise that me and my wife gave to each other. Our marriage is still only a month old but I know together, we can make it stand the test of time.

(Dedicated to my wife Jenny Angeles, who always inspired me to keep on making images)

Love is all around us. It is not always the words i love you... But it is in the moments.. Those absolute moments where you just feel them. Moments that captures your heart.. moments that takes your breathe away.

Love of God. Love is the measure of our faith, the inspiration for our obedience, and the true altitude of our discipleship. The love of God is uninfluenced. By this we mean, there was nothing whatever in the objects of His love to call it into exercise, nothing in the creature to attract or prompt it. The love which one creature has for another is because of something in them; but the love of God is free, spontaneous, uncaused. Love of God is a deeper faith within yourself. An act of praising the GOD you believe is an act that satisfy your soul. The photo is a a proclamation of one's willingness to serve GOD with his faith. Faith that moves oneself to believe even without the existence of evidences. The power of faith is a greatest love, the love of God.

This is how much we look forward for the awesome future that our marvelous God has prepared for us. Things are never easy. It was and still a long distance relationship but God is our invisible armor day by day. The bicycle conveys the mode of transportation to defy the distance between us. And there is nothing more important than a genuine heart and desire to be together for the rest of ours lives.

We are John Paul and Myla – We are still a work in progress and we fervently pray that we will always choose to love and to forgive.

One image that will forever be etched on my mind is this one...

An unscripted portrait of my Wife holding my youngest Son's hand while the latter was undergoing a rather uncomfortable treatment.

I was lucky to have caught a solemn moment of devotion by a Mother to her Child.

A devotion and a kind of love that men, even us who are fathers, may never ever fathom.

The kind that only Mothers, I believe, know.
