• It means eating more vegetables, less meat, less sodium, watching your alco- hol, limiting processed foods and choosing whole grains promotion and dis- ease prevention
• Moderate activity for 30 minutes like light hiking, gardening, dancing, bicy- cling etc. will burn roughly 140 to 180 calories. Add to that smarting eating and you are at about 500 calories saved each day.
• If you move around less, you need less food, and you do better with easily digestible food
• People who are more physical and strong need more protein and are able to eat more nutritionally dense and difficult to digest foods
