SE 11th and Division
The library is located in the basement of the Ford Building on SE 11th and Division in Portland, Oregon. 2

Enter from SE 11th. You can take the stairs down to the lower level, or you can take the elevator. 4
Common area
When you step out of the elevator, you will see a common area with tables, a sink, refrigerator, and microwave. 5
Register
When you step inside the double entrance doors, you will see the registration desk and photos of the assistants who are on duty for the day.

Computers
The work tables have computers for your use. The onsite databases include Ancestry Library Edition and Fold3. 7

The Oregon phonebook collection from the 1970s includes directories from small towns. 12
Yearbooks
The school yearbook section is popular with people who want photos and biographical material. 13
Civil War soldiers
The Spencer Leonard manuscript collection contains cards for Civil War soldiers who lived in Oregon. 14
Most of the soldiers served from other states and moved to Oregon after the Civil War. 15
Oregon cemetery files
Two cemetery manuscript collections make this the largest cemetery manuscript file in the state. 16
Oregon Masonic Grand Lodge
Yearbooks from the Oregon Masonic Grand Lodge include obituaries for deceased members. 17
1904-1905 Oregon death certificates
These death certificates were not included in the Oregon Death Index. They are indexed in the GFO index collection on the website, www.gfo.org.
