TRANSITION TOWN DORCHESTER ENERGY MEETINGThursday 27th August - Held at the Dorset Room 6:30 ‘til 10ish , The Colliton Club, Dorchester - room rental £10

This meeting was open to anyone local to Dorset and interested in energy. The meeting was advertised on the TTD website and mailing list, DA21 calendar and also by word of mouth. Flyers and posters were not printed. To the best of our knowledge this meeting was not mentioned on the BBC or indeed Channel 5...etc.Twelve people said they would like to attend - and 10 people actually attended - here follows what the other 2 missed out on... and anyone else who couldn’t make it...

Interestingly, a few of us didn’t think we had any particular ‘skills’ to offer -

2. Sharing Energy Tips• break into groups of up to 5• write on flipchart• feedback at end

For this we split into 2 groups to come up ideas, some big, some small, and some medium...

3. Things we might like to do as an energy group? eg LED lighting bulb library & co-operative...other ideas

For this we all looked at the results from Table1 and Table2, and went through everything to prioritise a Top3 of what we know could be achieved (keeping in mind this is a small group at the moment, big projects may occur later).
