What do you think is Success?
The wealth of Bill Gates, the intelligence of
Albert Einstein, the heart of Mother Teresa, the
athletic ability of Michael Jordan.
Yes, they were successful, but if you just try to
imitate them, you wouldn’t be successful.
Success isn’t the same for any two people
because we are all created differently as unique
individuals.
As every lock has a different key, the meaning
of success and its key also varies from people
to people.
A young man asked Socrates the secret to success.
Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river
the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young
man to walk with him toward the river. When the
water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young
man by surprise and ducked him into the water. The
boy struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and
kept him there until the boy started turning blue.
Socrates pulled his head out of the water and the first
thing the young man did was to gasp and take a deep
breath of air. Socrates asked, 'What did you want the
most when you were there?" The boy replied, "Air."
Socrates said, "That is the secret to success. When you
want success as badly as you wanted the air, then you
will get it." There is no other secret.
A burning desire is the starting point of all
accomplishment. Just like a small fire cannot
give much heat, a weak desire cannot produce
great results.
Success is ....
Knowing your purpose in life,
Growing to your maximum potential, and
Sowing seeds that benefit others.
Since Success means differently to different
people, there is a separate key to success for
every individual.
So, find out who is holding the key to your
Success?
IT’s YOU....and Only YOU who holds the
Key to Your Success.
And the KEY says..........
EARN Yourself.
E stands for – Explore Yourself.
A stands for – Accept Yourself.
R stands for – Redefine Yourself.
N stands for – Nurture Yourself.
He who knows others is learned, but the wise is the one who knows himself.
Self Awareness – Google yourself within.
Identify your strengths & weaknesses.
(Hare & the Tortoise story – Part II)
Discover your Passion.
Understand yourself.
Appreciate your Uniqueness, it defines You.
Be Yourself, Be Original.
Respect Yourself – cultivate Self-esteem.
Follow your Passion. (Remember ...3 idiots)
Identify & Define your Purpose of life.
Harness your Strengths & Maximise Potential.
Value Time, overcome Procrastination.
Take Responsibility for your actions.
Develop Positive Attitude.
Struggle precedes Success.(The Cocoon Story)
Develop an Attitude of Gratitude.
Develop Perseverance.
Keep sharpening the Axe as you Grow.
Enjoy Being Yourself in the Journey of Life.
In order to EARN Yourself,
you need to LEARN yourself
and also occasionally UNLEARN yourself,
More often be STERN with yourself,
Very frequently CHURN Yourself,
.......and You will finally have your Key to Success as you truly GOVERN Yourself.
