Plant and its habitat

A habitat is a specific place or natural conditions

in which a plant or an animal lives.

Habitat

Plants are found on land, in water, on fields and in gardens.

Many plants grow and livein forests or in deserts or on hills.

They are also grown on farms and in green- houses.

There are thousands of kinds of plants.

Some are small.Small plants like bushes are shrubs

While others are still smaller like grasses. These are called herbs

Some are tall and big.Tall and big plants are trees.

Shrubs have many hard woody stems;

Trees have one main

Herbs do not have woody stem. They have soft stems, like grasses.
