Origini…Era il 1946 quando René e Valerio Borgioli cominciavano a realizzare leprime scarpe in un piccolo laboratorio di cui ancora oggi si conservano illocale e gli attrezzi. L’esperienza si sedimentava, la maestria si affinava, lescarpe fatte ad arte venivano sempre più apprezzate: è questa l’origine dellatradizione artigiana evocata dal marchio Fratelli Borgioli.

Struttura…A partire dagli anni ’80, con la seconda generazione Borgioli, il calzaturificioassume una dimensione aziendale: la produzione aumenta, viene strutturatauna rete distributiva che copre il territorio nazionale e cominciano adevadere con sistematicità le richieste estere.I Fratelli Borgioli diventano una solida realtà e contribuiscono a determinareil valore che tutto il mondo riconosce alla calzatura italiana.

Consolidamento…L’azienda cresce strutturandosi in una dimensione industriale, ma restainvariato lo spirito e la determinazione artigianale che contraddistingue laproduzione fin dagli inizi. La qualità resta sempre al primo posto: cuoipregiatissimi ed eccellenti pellami sottoposti a sapienti trattamenti diinvecchiamento, modellati ad arte fin nel dettaglio di ogni rifinitura, conaggiunterie e cuciture interamente manuali.Nel processo che dal taglio del cuoio porta alla confezione almeno 100 manisottopongono le scarpe Fratelli Borgioli a una media di 180 passaggi.L’artigianalità integrale, la qualità e il gusto del made in Italy più autentico, ètutto ciò a costituire l’eccellenza delle scarpe Fratelli Borgioli.

From the heart of Tuscany, here are represented sixty years of pure handicraft:this is the secret of the luxurious made in Italy signed by Fratelli Borgioli.

Origins…It was the year 1946 when René and Valerio Borgioli started making their firstshoes in a small workshop that has been preserved until nowadays with all itstools. Experience started to leave its traces, workmanship honed, skillfullymade shoes were more and more appreciated: these are the origins of thehandicraft tradition that the Fratelli Borgioli brand recalls.

Structure…Starting from the Eighties, with the second generation of the Borgioli family,the shoe shop acquired a corporate structure: production increased, adistribution net was set up to cover the entire national territory, so much so,that they started competing with foreign companies.Fratelli Borgioli hence became a solid reality and contributed in determiningthe world-wide importance of Italian shoes.

Consolidation…The company continued to grow with an industrial asset, but the handicraftspirit and determination that distinguished the production from the startremain unchanged. Quality is always in the first place, thanks to the choice ofvery precious leather and excellent hides which have been skillfully aged,shaped and defined to the utmost detail, with entirely hand made add-ons.During the process from the cutting of leathers to their tailoring, at least 100people work on the Fratelli Borgioli shoes, which undergo not fewer than180 handlings.The entire process is completely handicrafted, so ensuring the authenticity ofthe made in Italy, and the excellency of the Fratelli Borgioli shoes.
