7.) Our guarantees…
Candidate Guarantee: If the hired candidate leaves within the first year for any reason, other than lay-off / change of control, we will do our part to replace them at no additional charge (first 6 months) or at 50% of original fee (6-12 months).
In summary, we have a vested interest to ensure a “win-win” for the client and the selected candidate!
Speed Guarantee: If we do not deliver finalists in 20 Business Days, we will deduct 10% of our total fee at the end of the search. In well over 700 searches, there are only 3 times when this guarantee needed to be honored!

One-Year Replacement Guarantee
8.) Search fees and associated costs…
• Since our inception in 2000, the strategy of The Human Capital Group has been to offer a value-based fee structure equal to 25% of the candidate’s first year’s total cash compensation (base salary, target bonus, and sign-on incentive – if provided). Our clients receive a 35+% savings from the traditional retained search fee model (1/3 fee + expenses)
• We invoice in 3 installments: 1) Launch of search 2) When finalists are presented, and 3) When the hired candidate starts working (results are delivered)!
• There are no additional / incremental charges, unless required by the client (i.e., candidate travel for on-site interviews). We leverage technology to interview / ”meet” candidates and, therefore, do not spend your money on unnecessary travel
