Dear candidate,

If you are reading these lines, it means you already took your first step towards impacting Namibian youth- congratulations!

Having taken the first step into the organisation in the past, it is now up to you how much you will gain and what you will experience in the next months or longer. NamLEAD is the annual Namibian leadership summit, where delegates have the chance to learn, engage, activate and develop their leadership potential.

NamLEAD Organising Committee (OC) gives you the unique opportunity to contribute to the organisation and the development of its members, while you develop yourself. Event management, time management and teamwork are just a few examples of skills you can acquire.

I hope this application is a start of a new learning process in your AIESEC experience.

Instructions 1. Please be precise in answering all the questions.2. Answer all questions under “General Questionnaire ” .3. 1.Being able to commit up to 15-20 hours per week for the preparation process of NamLEAD from the 12th of August on. 2. Time availability from the 17th-20th of September (to be present at the conference facility as OC). 3. Make yourself available for OC meetings which will happen every week and more frequently in the week before the event. 4. Be very flexible, be an active learner, solution oriented and willing to work in a team. 5. Motivation to deliver the biggest and best conference AIESEC Namibia ever experienced.

• Establishing a promotion plan and theme.

• Creating promotion materials.

• Contacting all LCs to get information which promotion channels will be the most efficient for promoting the conference.

• Attend LCMs of other LCs to actively promote the conference.

• Find external ways of promoting, in order to attract international delegates.

• Constant promotion of the conference.

• Creating the application form.

• Managing all incoming applications (creating spreadsheet etc.).

• Constant communication with VP Comm and OCP regarding the number of incoming applications.

• Preparation of badges, sugar cubes etc. .

• Contact the applicants and delegates until the conference and answer to their questions.

• Create the delegate booklet for the delegates.

• Creating a plan about what sort of inkinds we need for the conference.

• Raising inkinds, money and partnerships for conference (working together with YSF team on this).

• Making sure that the conference is happening at the lowest cost.

• Showcasing the use of inkinds to the companies.

VP Logistics • On-site logistics to ensure a smooth flow of the conference.

• Planning the parties and giving information about the themes.

• Is in charge of giving directions to the venue.

• Making sure that all the materials and inkinds needed get to the conference venue.

• Communication with Conference Manager and Agenda Manager to make sure that all the session needs are provided.
