Top 3 regions with the most jobs

The distribution of jobs across regions is more even in Germany and the Netherlands than it is in France. Jobs published in the top 3 regions in Germany and the Netherlands amount to more than 50% of all jobs posted, with each region accounting for a least 15% of this figure. In France the top three regions represent only 41.8% of all job published, with the Île-de-France region accounting for more than half of the total.

Top sectors in Q1 2015

The Trade/retail sector recruits the most in France and the Netherlands, whilst Manufacturing leads in Germany. Those two sectors both rank among the countries’ top 3 sectors. Aside from those, each country has a specific sector among its top three: ICT is the second biggest sector in Germany, Hospitality ranks third in France and in the Netherlands the Healthcare sector comes second.

Share of part-time/full-time jobs

Germany and France have a comparable distribution of full-time/part-time jobs. The share of part-time jobs is much higher in the Netherlands and has grown by 3% within the past 12 months. The share of part-time jobs is also up 1.6% in France compared to Q1 2014 but fell 2.5% in Germany.
