Page 12: T.leadership

Importance of Sincere Dialogue When the company was facing issues of income tax,

pollution clearances, legal cases, she conducted extensive dialogues, with the result that , she got the stay vacated and also revived the real estate project after a gap of two years .

She talked with the creditors and assured them that she would pay all the debts in due course, and won the trust of all stakeholders. She assured her employees that they were her fuel and power to take the plane of the company to great heights.

“The thicker the wall, the stronger the fighting spirit and perseverance we need to summon forth and surmount it.”

Page 13: T.leadership

Participative Approach of leadership

Her style of functioning is always objective. Once they had to decide what kind of products the company should target on? There were two possibilities:

1) Flood cheap products in the market 2) Introduce Quality Products and go slow as finance

was also a constraint. In the second case she would mange her finance and

also the inventory. She after taking everyone into confidence, choose the second option and now Raglan is a name to reckon with in this part of the country.

Page 14: T.leadership

Training and Development She believes in the One Minute Management

approach. She helps people in reaching their full potential by appreciating them sincerely and consistently on their good work done immediately, rather than waiting for an annual performance review.

Motivation not Pressure to get work Ethical Business practices Respect for others Perspective Respect for Individuality

The effect was bound to be favorable. When finances had reached the rock bottom, she received two subsidy cheques from the government each worth Rs 1.4 cr

A machine worth 9 cr was lying useless for 3 years and they were not able to sell that machine even for 1crore, but today it has turned into best sought after machine in India because of ban on polythene bags. Isn’t it a biggest proof of poison changing into medicine or adversity changing into opportunity?

So, their industry which was once laughing stock in market, has earned a name not only in India, but worldwide.

Transformational Process Women can not only win but surpass men
