IS IT (NET) WORTH?
HNWIHigh-Net-Worth Individual
A high-net-worth individual (HNWI) is a person with a high net worth. In the western, and primarily American, private banking business, these individuals typically are defined as having investable finance (financial
assets, excluding primary residence) in excess of US$1 million.
UHNWIUltra-High-Net-Worth Individual
By 2007, the expansion of HNWI assets led to the creation of a super class of HNWIs, known as Ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), i.e. those with US$30 million in liquid financial assets according to the
Capgemini and Merrill Lynch World Wealth Report 2006 or with a disposable income of more than US$20 million.

The long story short
Around 2005, Jiang Yuan Water Engineering decides to put a lot of money on a new luxury-villa development close to Ordos
To do so, they ask swiss architects Herzog & De Meuron to select 99 emerging architects that will design one 1000sqm villa each.
They accept and ask Chinese artist Ai Weiwei to design the masterplan and be the curator of the whole process. He also documents it and makes a movie out of it.
Arata Isozaki wasn't invited to the party :(
