The nearest domestic airport is Trat, a 25 minutes flight from Bangkok International airport.

Driving from Bangkok to Trat takes approx. 4 hours and the boat transfer from Trat by speed boat takes 1 hour. The government is also plannig to build a commercial airport on the island within the next few years.

Hotels, including international chains such as Six Senses and Centara have already properties on the island and more will follow. Six Senses is also selling private villas, prices of USD 1 million up per unit!
