Docklands Light Railway

Transport connections have been further enhanced with the completion of the Woolwich Arsenal DLR extension, which serves City Airport, Bank and Canary Wharf. This high-tech transport system also connects with the proposed Stratford International station for the 2012 Olympics, via the Jubilee Line at Canning Town, with journey times from Woolwich to Stratford around 20 minutes. As with the rest of the DLR network, Woolwich Arsenal Station includes step-free access to platforms and trains. It has two entrances, at Greens End and Woolwich New Road, maximising access to the town centre and links with other modes of transport. Trains run up to every two minutes in the peak periods to and from Woolwich Arsenal.
