"Oakland is being seen as the next place for tech," Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf recently told Techwire. The area has recently witnessed a resurgence, with more businesses and jobs locating to Uptown. Schaaf called Uber a “game-changer,” stating that it has created a buzz about downtown Oakland.
