INTRODUCTION

LWP Property Group is committed to creating communities that are healthy and sustainable. We achieve this in a

number of ways. Designing our land developments to refl ect their natural environment, incorporating bike and

hike trails, and ensuring that every home is within walking distance of facilities are just a few of them.

Hosting community-run events such as our Arts & Produce Markets and staging free events such as outdoor

movie nights also provide opportunities for the community to come together.

We also work hard to identify and meet the particular needs of a community. In talking to people within our

communities, we have discovered that sourcing reliable, regular funding for local community groups can be a

challenge and therefore receive many requests for sponsorship each year. In order to streamline the process for

everyone, we have designed an application form which needs to be completed for each application.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The major objectives for LWP sponsorships should be addressed in your grant application. You should indicate

how your event or activity will do one or more of the following:

• Welcome new residents from LWP communities to your program, service or activity and provide opportunities for

the Glades community to integrate with your existing group.

• Promote the new community being developed by LWP and actively seek out ways to hold your program, service or

event at this community.

Applications are strongly encouraged from groups that:

• Will hold their events, program or service within LWP communities.

• Are long-term or regular activities requiring an initial boost to establish their program, service or event.

• Off er a much needed service, program or event to the LWP community.

Before submitting an application, ask yourself:

• Is your club/community group/activity targeted at communities that might be interested in the LWP community?

These might include young families outside the local area, as well as local people.

• How many members are there? Or how many visitors do you expect your event to attract?

• Does your club/group/association’s activities provide residents of an LWP community with opportunities to join in?

• Does it allow LWP Property Group to demonstrate its commitment to creating healthy and sustainable communities?

WHO CAN APPLY?

Not-for-profi t organisations, sporting and community groups, religious/charitable organisations, public companies

limited by guarantee and local government authorities are eligible to apply.

WHAT WILL NOT BE FUNDED

Retrospective funding will not be made available.

Purchase of some items of capital equipment or infrastructure (eg IT equipment, etc.)

RECOGNITION

In addition, all funding applications need to meet two or more of the following criteria:

1. LWP Community logo recognition

Is there an opportunity/opportunities for the LWP Community logo to be incorporated into your activity (For

example, the logo could appear on site at your event, in promotional materials, or for sports events, in fi xtures lists,

on trophies or medals, shirts or caps)?

2. Promotional opportunities

Is there an opportunity/opportunities for your club to mention the LWP Community sponsorship in interviews,

media releases, newsletters, speeches at presentation evenings etc?

3. Networking opportunities

Can a representative from the LWP community attend your event?

4. Speaking opportunities

Is there an opportunity for a representative from the LWP community to speak at an event or present prizes?

5. Naming Rights

Would the LWP community be the main or naming rights sponsor for your event or organisation?

AGREEMENT:• I agree that the amount granted will be refunded in full if the original receipts and a statement of income and

expenditure are not provided to LWP Property Group within 8 weeks of my program/service/event being completed.

• I agree that any unexpended sponsorship funds as of the 30th June each calendar year, will be returned to LWP

Property Group.

• I agree to use the name or logo of the LWP community specifi ed in this application on all material and
