USDA Eligible Properties Spared From 4th Quarter Cut

Cities remain USDA Eligible until January 2014

The 923 communities that were to be cut from the USDA's list of Rural Development eligible properties will remain eligible untilJanuary 15, 2014. This is the third such extension for the "cut cities" and it is unknown if another extension will be granted.

What does this mean? There will be no changes to the communities that are currently eligible for the USDA Section 502Guaranteed Program. In other words, cities that were included in the previously released "cut list" will continue to be eligible forUSDA financing until the new deadline.

USDA Rural Development and its loan program were designed to help improve the economy and quality of life throughout ruralAmerica. The program continues to remain a wonderful option for qualifying homebuyers, and includes a zero down paymentfeature.

For a complete list of the Rural Development eligible communities and for information about qualifying loan programs, consultthis link. (http://eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov/eligibility/welcomeAction.do)

If you or anyone you know is interested in a USDA Rural Development guarantee loan, I would be glad to help andam always happy to answer any questions you may have!
