50 Brodie Cr., R.R.# 2, Bracebridge, ON

Proposed 51,000 sq.ft, 2 storey hotel, conference, and spa facility. The hotel contains fractional ownership chalets. Heavy timbers accentuate the horizontality of the design, with accentuated dormers deriving the 2nd floor suites. The hotel and restaurant overlook the Falls known as the “Niagara of the North”. The chalets are located amongst natural trees and vegetation to minimize construction footprint.

5599 River Rd, Niagara Falls, ON

A proposed renovation to an existing Modern hotel with 130 suites overlooking the Niagara Gorge. The restaurant was given a complete renovation and outdoor seating areas introduced. A signage band was introduced incorporating and emphasizing a strong podium base and wayfinding assistance.

5700 Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls, ON

A six storey motel with 132 suites overlooking Stanley Avenue leading to Casino Niagara. A 2 storey trussed canopy provides a weather sheltered entrance directly next to the lobby and ground floor swimming pool. A masonry veneer podium comprise the base of the building, tying in with the 2 storey gabled residences. Off white precast panel provide the enclosure of the 3rd to 6th floors. A standing seam roof picks up on the corporate colour of the hotel.

5425 Robinson St, Niagara Falls, ON

Once a flourmill, a façade and interior alteration was undertaken to one of the few boutique hotels in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The exterior nomenclature was derived from the materials from the original century old building. A proposed rhythm of dormers will dot the existing gabled roofs to provide horizontal relief and personal identification to individual suites.

Zoning By-law Amendment for a stand alone 4 storey hotel, conference and spa connected to the existing (originally a canning factory) facility via a street bridge overpass. Total capacity will exceed 200 rooms after the completion of construction. Underground parking will be accessed from side arterial road in order to maintain a strong link on the flanking roadway. An Italian courtyard will provide seasonal landscaping and wedding chapel areas.

5195 Magdalen Street, Niagara Falls, ON

A complete exterior and interior renovation to an existing dilapidated dairy bottling facility. The landmark building with a giant concrete milk bottle was stripped completely inside and out. The milk bottle was maintained and stands as the front entrance to the Boutique Inn. Exposed ceiling beams from the original building are exposed as part of the interior design. Each suite has a unique layout design.
