Vaikundarajan On World Thinking Day

On 19th February, World Thinking Day was celebrated at Kendriya Vidyalaya INS Dronacharya school premises. “Among the attendees were scouts, guides, cubs and bulbuls of the school, led by C P Ramachandran, the advanced scout master. The attendees were welcomed to the event and the importance of thinking day was discussed,” informs Vaikundarajan.

The function was presided by Principal Liziamma Daniel who emphasized on the need for imbibing values such as respect to elders, kindness, sympathy, integrity and honesty.

Vaikundarajan explains the significance of World Thinking Day. “It is celebrated worldwide to appreciate the help and guidance of brothers and sisters all over the world.”

A thought-provoking skit was presented by the cubs and bulbuls of Vidyalaya. The skit received applause from the audience. Vaikundarajan explained the performance as motivating and sends a message of saving trees for a healthy and green environment.

A closing speech was delivered by Archana Mallya who spoke on the life and contribution of Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the scout movement.

Throughout the event, patriotic songs and action songs were presented by Scouts and Guides. Overall, it was a successful and inspiring event.
