• Covers body surfaces and lines body cavities.• Absorption,Protection,Excretion,Secretion

and Lubrication.

NERVOUS TISSUE• The control and co-ordination of

physiological activities.• Enables responses to stimuli and co-ordinates

bodily functions.• To identify the changes inside and outside

the body.

MUSCULAR TISSUE

• It enables the body to contract and relax• Make the body movements possible

CONNECTIVE TISSUE

• Binds and supports body parts.• Give shape to organs and holds them in

place.• Connective tissues either connect cells of

other tissues or provide support to them.• Example-Bone,Cartilage,Blood,Fibrous tissue.
