• Open seminar series for active and prospective entrepreneurs

• 10 sessions on monthly basis until summer 2015

• Covers relevant theoretical and practical aspects of entrepreneurship

• Based on lecture „entrepreneurship“ @Bogazici University

• Based on experiences of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and consultants

• Each session with guest speaker (entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, etc.)

• Each session will end with test elevator pitch by seminar participant

• Mondays 17.15h – 19.30h

• Next session: Mon 10.November 2014

• Certificate provided for participants joining at least 7/10 sessions

• Early registration for each session required (eventbrite), capacity 50 people!

• Priority for regular participants

Entrepreneurship

• Entrepreneurship: The process of creating something new with value by devoting the necessary time and effort, assuming the accompanying financial, psychic, and social risks and uncertainties, and receiving rewards of monetary and personal satisfaction. (Hisrich / Peters / Shepherd, Entrepreneurship, p.6)

• Creating something new of value

• Devotion of necessary time and effort

• Receiving the rewards of being an entrepreneur

• Assuming the necessary risks and uncertainties

• Entrepreneurship – the short definition: Entrepreneurship is the process of changing ideas into commercial opportunities and creating value. (Leach / Melicher, Entrepreneurial Finance, p. 7)
