Deborah Parritt

• Over 20 years communications experience in the travel, leisure and hospitality industry.

• Specialist in creating photo opportunities, achieving national press and broadcasting coverage by encapsulating good stories in arresting images.

• Involved with large international companies such as the InterContinental Hotels Group, Choice Hotels Europe and the All Leisure division of Compass Group. Fun campaigns have included launching the first British grown tea at Kensington Palace, launching Rhodes Twenty Four with Gary Rhodes, launching Albert Roux at Sofitel Heathrow and arranging for the Book Programme to be broadcast from Vinopolis. Deborah also helped to launch the Hoxton Apprentice – brain child of celebrity chef Prue Leith.

• Deborah knows London’s venue scene intimately and launched the It’s the Agency venue collection for CH&Co. When she worked with Vacherin on the launch of the newly restyled Whitechapel Art Gallery she collaborated with chef Maria Elia to achieve record press coverage for the dining aspect of the venue as well as a front page feature story in FMJ. A highlight of her work with Creative Taste has been the involvement with Dulwich Picture Gallery launch party and talking about the ingenious ways Creativevents have for disposing of waste. On a volunteer basis Deborah works with Keats Community Library as their unofficial PR adviser and occasionally washes up after family meals at the local youth project, the Winch.

• Deborah’s hobbies mostly relate to eating out and travelling. She tries to mitigate the inevitable consequences by walking her beloved border terrier.

• Taking the head of events at BMA House onto BBC London radio for a foodie slot about Brazilian BBQ food with presenter Gaby Roslyn

• Launched smaller start ups online including career mentor and coach, Penny Davenport, securing exclusive features with the Financial Times, Marie Claire and Men’s Health

• Memorable moments include teaching The London Paper to speak Italian for the launch of La Dolce Vita show, rubbing shoulders with Gary Rhodes at The Cumberland, Esther Rantzan in North London, working with celebrity chef Gino d’Acampo and meeting Ronnie Corbett on a press trip to Marrakech.

• Fluent in Italian and basic French language skills. • Lisa loves to travel and enjoys blogging about sausage dogs.
