Recent Spectrum Refarming
800 MHz Refarming, to expand broadband coverageOn 10 September 2014 Minister of Communication and Information Technology hasstipulated decree of 800 MHz band based on the consultation with the operators.
Smartfren and Bakrie Tel are allowed to use CDMA and/or LTE in Band 5 (824-835 MHz//869-880 MHz) and Telkom and Indosat are allowed to use EGSM/HSPA/LTE in Band 8 (880-890MHz //925-935 MHz).

Spectrum Crisis, We need more spectrum for better broadbandTo resolve “spectrum crunch“ of increasinglysignificant traffic of mobile broadband, threesolutions are provided:• Additional Spectrum Bandwidth• Increase Efficiency of Spectrum with the use oftechnology upgrade with the latest technology• Increasing number of tower site
The bigger spectrum provided, the bigger saving of capex andopex of Mobile Broadbandprovisions.
