DivergentWhat is Divergent about?

- In a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris learns she's Divergent and won't fit in. When she discovers a plot to destroy Divergents, Tris and the mysterious Four must find out what makes Divergents dangerous before it's too late.

Divergent is set in a more futuristic setting, this means that society is different about everything and is the most harsh on the teenagers.

How does this make it a thriller?

- The reason for why divergent is a thriller based movies is because of all the events that happen during the movie. In the movie there are a lot of battle scenes. However, there are always some events that send you fly to the seat, for example when the main character is attacked and a lot of things happened to her.

Shots used in the movieIn the trailer there is an over the shoulder shot used. This shot represents all the danger that is coming towards her and how she is thinking about her options. This shows how she is ready for anything that is being dashed towards her. This shows the bravery of women and the women's can be as brave as men.

The over the shoulder used in the particular scene shows us that she is brave, she does not fear anyone because of the events that have taken place. The shot shows how she is looking down at everyone with pity, while she is filled with bravery and ready to face her demon.
