HOPE foundation, the Indian affiliate of HOPE worldwide, is helping bring relief
to flood victims.

The HOPE foundation team stationed themselves at the Chinyali Sodh helipad where those who had been rescued arrived on army helicopters.

Survivors told our workers they had walked from three to four days and traveled about 40 – 50 miles to reach the helipad in Harsil where they were airlifted to safety.

HOPE foundation provided drinking water for people arriving from the disaster areas.

Our Immediate ResponseHOPE foundation, the Indian affiliate of HOPE worldwide, is distributing drinking water, medicines, rice, sugar, tea, footwear and other basic necessities to those who have been rescued.

In addition to food and basic supplies, we distributed medicines to comfort the pilgrims’ aching and swollen feet.
