It is clear to see that IPC have associated with a wide range of target audiences over the years. This may be why it is a popular and successful publisher.
2) Why might IPC be an appropriate publisher for a new music magazine? What sorts of genres of music/types of magazines might they be likely to publish? Why might alternative publishers like Bauer be appropriate?
IPC could be an appropriate publisher for a new music magazine because it covers a wide range of target audiences so would therefore be able to identify interests in music effectively.
They would be likely to publish genres such as pop, indie/rock, hip-hop, RnB and classical.
Alternative publishers like Bauer may be appropriate because they specialise in particular magazines rather than IPC who are more general.
