coming to Maharashtra, but going to states like Gujarat, TN etc.

24x7 electricity & water supply, good highways & ports are still far-away dreams for people of Maharashtra◦ The previous NDA govt in 1995-99 saw many successful

road projects like Mumbai-Pune expressway, 52 flyovers constructed in Mumbai, and highway development in backward areas like Marathwada, Vidarbha.

Unemployment rate for young men of Maharashtra was 4.5% in 2013 - higher than the national average

Maharashtra, especially Mumbai, have been targeted with impunity by Islamist terrorists in last decade. ◦ Most of the perpetrators are yet to be apprehended or

their cases drag on

Home Minister, RR Patil, said in wake of the deadly Nov 2008 Mumbai attacks – “In big cities like this, small incidents do happen.”

Maharashtra continue to see high number of communal riots. ◦ 2012 saw the Azad Maidan riots where fanatics from

Reza Academy went on a rampage, molesting police women & destroying Amar Jawan Jyoti memorial, while the Mumbai police commissioner stood watching.

Today, the best governed states in India are BJP ruled states like MP, Gujarat, Chattisgarh, Goa, Rajasthan. ◦ BJP alone offers development oriented politics &

meritocratic leadership – all other parties are still caught up in caste quota politics where few families dominate.

Maharashtra is the birth place of Hindutva & nationalism – it was Shivaji who led the re-awakening of Hindu society, and ideologues like Veer Savarkarshowed us the way.◦ A proud, prosperous Maharashtra is essential to a

prosperous India.

Come, lets give complete majority to the 1 party that has the stature, organization & development to restore Maharashtra to its former glory.
