Evaluation!

In this slideshow, Im going to evaluate my Magazine Cover.

To do this I constructed a questionnaire for each and handed it out to a few classmates who completed questionnaires for my primary research, and also to a few newer people so I can get a wider range of results and opinions.

As you can see, the majority of people who completed my evaluative questionnaire. This works particularly well as my target audience was people in the area.

As you can see, most of those taking part in my evaluation are female. What else is there to say?

As you can see, more people have answered yes than no. Which is good. But 6 out of 20 said that they didn’t think it was authentic enough. Uh-oh! This shows me that there must be other things I could have done to improve my cover.

Now with this one, I would actually agree with those who answered no. Looking back at my poster, it seems just the

same as every other. Perhaps an example of too much conformity to typical conventions?

Quite a few changes really. I know for definite I would re-arrange the ‘extra’ section. During production I was unsure on the placing, size and general orientation of this piece.

Quite a few people have answered ‘no’ to this, must be a good sign? Right. Perhaps the suggestion of the border around the extra section would solve the problem of it looking mis-placed.

The blue writing

Again, quite a few no’s. There’s not much I can do with that is there? Here lies one of the solutions to my ‘extra’ problem. Get rid of it! But that wouldn’t really fit with usual forms and conventions of magazine covers would it? Shame.
