DESCRIPTION

The following letter was written by Haitian President Michel Joseph Martelly to the Supreme Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA) and tells the justices of the court to stay in their seats past their Constitutional mandate and that he would not swear-in justices appointed, Constitutionally, by the Senate. In this letter to the CSC/CA, the President of the Republic shows his poor disposition in regards to respecting the Constitution and the integrity of other institutions using colorful language. The CSC/CA is a body which audits the accounts of the government and settles inter-trans-institutional disputes with the Haitian government. The Constitution says that its members are chosen by the Senate of the Republic of Haiti.
