Gabangon siya nang maaga porque arawi ang
gaturahan niya. Isang buen worker si Reyes. Siya'y
magalang at nagaget. Mataas sa average ang
kanyang intelligence. Punctual siya. Pagdating

Gasunod siya sa kanyang foreman. Ang output

“Filipino” or “Pilipino” is a linguisticswindle worthy of the so-called NationalLanguage Institute. The new Constitutionlooks hopefully to its development tosomething worthy of being called a nationallanguage. As it evolves... In human evolution,it is in the stage of the Neanderthal Man. Nolonger ape, not yet human, Shambling as itwalks and low-browed. Like “Pilipino” or“Filipino” as a language. Down from the treesand just out of the cave of ignorance.

Perhaps the Philippine situation can never befully understood by someone belonging to thepower elite. The Westernization of those whograduated from the university is almostcomplete. The students who have learnedEnglish easily are the same ones who havequickly embraced the citizens alienated fromtheir fellow Filipinos because they lived inan artificial society, a society built on theprinciples and objectives imported throughthe use of English. It is not surprising thatmany intellectuals believe that nationalismand the language problem are separate, thatit is possible to show support for the countrywithout supporting Pilipino.

it is a misconception clearly propagated that Ms.
Corazon Aquino is a weak president, utterly lacking
in political will. the truth is that she is a strong, even
stubborn president who is far reluctant in exerting
her will on our political society.
Adrian
for the constitution grants the presidency the
monopoly of political will... they forget that the
political will to which the presidency has an
exclusive franchise has always been inevitably
exercised.

Tagalog is by default the national
language. It is the lingua franca of the entire
archipelago. Call it Filipino/Pilipino then, for
that would conquer a national scope on the
regional Tagalog language.
