Dr. Rajan Mahtani Walks Out of Jail With Dignity

The Former Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani was released from the police custody after signing a document of release and compromise.

The parties to this document were Dr. Rajan Mahtani and the Director of Public Prosecutions. Ignatius Mwape served as a witness.

According to this document, all criminal proceeding in the name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been dropped and are now ‘permanently closed’.

Previously, the Ventriglia family had used their ‘money power’ to reopen a case which was previously declared to be ‘permanently closed’ and got Dr. Mahtani arrested on criminal charges.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a key figure for Finsbury Investments and with his presence the Ventriglia family will have a tough time to conceal their corruption and ill-treatment of employees.

The time is not far away when Dr. Rajan Mahtani will bring justice to the people of Ndola and the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory.
