Make up- THE INSPIRATION ON MY THRILLER COMES FROM ANIME AND IN ANIMES THE MAKE UP TENDS TO BE BOLD, OVER THE TOP THEREFORE THE MAKE UP IS APART OF the COSTUME DUE TO THE INTENSITY THAT HAS TO BE APPLIED AND THE TIME THAT IT WILL IT TAKE. 5. Step by step anime styled make up Step one- four: This picture shows me with one coat of concealer, the concealer helps bring out the eye make up that has been applied. There is one layer of carmex on my lips to add a touch of gloss and shine. The first bas of and liquid eye liner has been applied with a hint of gold eye shadow. Step five-seven: This extreme close up of my eyes shows the intensity of the make u. another coat of liquid eye liner has been added. On top of the gold coat of eye shadow that was placed on my eye lid, an additional silver coat was added above my eye lid to bring out the eyeliner. Brown eye shadow was added to my eyebrows to give them a faded, silicon look. Step eight-nine: This is an extreme close up of my lips, this shows how smooth it looks due to the carmex. There is faint lip pencil over my lip line to bring them out. 6. Step ten: This is the next stage of the make up and red lip stick was added to bring out them out. A coat of carmex was added after to make them shine. Step twelve- fourteen: I added another coat of brown eye shadow and blended it in. As well as the eye shadow I added fake eye lashes to emphasise my eyes. Step eleven: I added another coat of concealer and blended it in so it could give my face a clear look. Afterwards I put on a light moisturiser to give a matt finish. Step sixteen: This is a fake nose gem and it adds a sense of rebellion. It gives me a high school edge it also conform to conventions of anime school girls. Step fifteen: I added some pink blusher on my cheeks to give me the rosy cheeks. 7. FINAL PRODUCT Pink lipstick/carmex Red blusher Fake eye lashes Brown eye shadow on eyebrows Nose gem Liquid and pencil eyeliner Silver/ brown eye shadow Concealer 8. HAIR HAIR IN JAPANESE AANIME, PROGRAMMES, FILMS EITHER TEND TO OVER THE TOP, COLOURFUL AND BOLD. OR LONG, PLAIN AND STRAIGHT. I MERGED THESE TWO CONVENTIONS TOGETHER AND THE END RESULT WAS STRAIGHT HAIR WITH COLOUR (RED, BROWN AND LIGHT GOLD). 9. hair Red ends Gold highlights Dark brown Black highlights 10. outfits The Japanese high school outfits can be seen as provocative, or overly sexualised. They tend to wear short skirts, tight tops, military jackets. If their clothes aren't revealing they tend to be reserved e.g. long skirts, long shirts and blazers. 11. Outfit 1- typical anime high school outfit (cosplay) This is a cosplay version of anime high school attire. I will not be wearing this in my thriller opening because it is not appropriate to the theme but I thought it would be nice to show you what cosplay looks like. Cosplay play is Japanese for costume. I am wearing a purple corsage dress, this would be seen in vampire high school anime because of the colour. Another reason why I wouldn't wear this is because it is quiet restrictive and would be hard to manoeuvre in. 12. Outfit 2- anime styled school girl outfit This is a mixed version of the typical anime cosplay with a generic high school twist. I am wearing a typical red plaid skirt with a mid sleeve white t shirt. Glasses give a sense of innocence despite the fact that I am dressed promiscuously . I will be wearing this outfit with a bigger shirt when I do my filming. 13. Other outfits 14. The outfit we will use for the opening is
