Anxious passengers need support, explanations and understanding of aviation processes in real-time, in order to feel less stressed.

Fearful fliers are treated by psychologists or airline courses on the ground. The effect from such treatment reduces when adrenalin levels rise on board. People need help here and now, with specific info about THIS flight.

The solution

SkyGuru application provides anxious passengers with real time explanations what happens right now during their specific flight and what, when and why can be expected.

SkyGuru employs professional aeronautical information to calculate complicated mathematical and meteorological flight model before the flight.

In-flight, SkyGuru uses smartphone sensors as triggers confirming different flight stages, thus being able to provide real-time explanation to the user.

On board

While on board, the app uses accelerometer, gyroscope, pressure sensor, compass, and microphone to get solid confirmation, that specific flight stage was initiated. The application works in airplane mode.

The user gets 3 type of messages:

What is expected and why (we expect turbulence in CB clouds approximately 45 seconds after take off, this is due

to thermal activity ... etc)

Real time events (now, we experience some jumps. As you already know, this is due to CB that you probably

can see out of window)

General aviation education (example: sometimes fearful fliers tend to think that clear sky means smooth flight. But the reality is often different: uneven heat of the ground by sun ... etc)Providing users with explanations about weather

conditions and it's impact on their feelings during take-off and initial climb stages. Explaining
