Do Not Undermine WordPress Blogs/Sites! They can have exactly the same look/structure or functionality as what a web developer can create for you, but it is cheaper because of the length of time it would take to understand & build it

Step 1 – Installation Guide

Buy Web Hosting along with a Domain name

Web hosting is what makes your WordPress

visible to the public

Domain name is the URL link of your blog/site

Ex. of site hosting services:

Bluehost.com (recommended by WordPress)

Godaddy.com

Hostgator.com

Step 2 – Installation Guide

Login to your CPanel:

You will receive an email from which ever

hosting service you chose for Step 1. This

email will provide you with your CPanel link

and login information.

Download WordPress from your CPanel:

Some Cpanels allows you to install WordPress

directly and some have software installer apps.

You may find these apps on the main page

These apps can be QuickInstall, Softacuous,

SimpleScript

Click on one of these icons then look for the

WordPress Icon

Once you have filled in your web and login

information for WP, then choose a theme

and click install

Your WP is now Installed!

Once you have installed WordPress, you

will see an Administration URL

This is where you go to edit your WP site/blog

Use the login information you used to install

WordPress
